European beech trees generally take 30 years to mature, with a lifespan of about 200 years. However, people generally take more trees that are about 80 years old when mining.

In terms of color, European beech is generally light cream. After fumigation, the wood surface is also covered with a layer of red or brown. The lines are short and delicate, and the distribution is very even. Its hardness reaches 1440, which is between red oak and hard maple (refer to the Janka hardness table).

As a wood category, European beech has a density of 0.72g per square centimeter, which is one of the denser woods, close to the density of red oak. The higher density not only strengthens the hardness, but also makes the wood thicker and stronger. This also allows European beech to withstand stronger processing techniques than other softer woods.
